What would you do at Soomso?
As a Python Developer at Soomso, you’ll be integral to our data processing and machine learning initiatives. You’ll work on developing and maintaining the core algorithms that power our predictive analytics and customer insights features. Your work will directly impact how businesses understand and engage with their audiences through our platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize Python-based data processing pipelines
- Design and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs for our microservices architecture
- Collaborate with data scientists and frontend developers to integrate analytics features
- Improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
- Contribute to technical documentation and participate in agile development processes
Who we’re looking for?
- 5+ years of experience in Python development
- Strong knowledge of data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus
